*Update – Fourth Suspect Arrested* Three arrested after Ellendale shooting, detectives ask for help finding fourth suspect – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police detectives arrest 21-year-old Marcus Yunas of Ellendale, Delaware, charged with numerous offenses following a shooting in Ellendale in May.

On May 8, 2024 at approximately 12:31 a.m., officers responded to a home on South Old State Road in Ellendale for a disturbing incident. During the response, officers learned that shots had been fired at the same location. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 20-year-old woman had been shot in the leg. During the investigation, officers learned that a gray SUV had stopped in the road and the occupants were arguing with people in the front yard of the home and fired shots at them, striking the woman and the home. Officers located the SUV and suspects a short time later. The suspects, identified as Isaiah Yunas, and two 17-year-olds were arrested. Detectives were working to locate a fourth suspect, identified as 21-year-old Marcus Yunas.

On June 27, 2024, Yunas was arrested in Maryland and extradited to Delaware on July 8, 2024. He was taken to Troop 4, charged with the offenses listed below, arraigned before Magistrate Court No. 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $92,100 cash bond.
