Trial of suspended Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill delayed

The trial of suspended Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill has been adjourned until September.

Hill was arrested in March.

She is accused of falsifying documents in order to obtain power of attorney to represent a 96-year-old voter.

She was then accused of spending the woman’s money on luxury goods.

Hill pleaded not guilty.

During Tuesday’s hearing, her trial was adjourned until the end of September.

The trial is scheduled to begin on July 22.

Hill’s next court hearing is scheduled for September 17, and a new court period will begin on September 30.
