When does it start, who are the judges and how to watch

Britain’s Got Talent returns to our TV screens in just a few days with a host of performers showcasing their talents in the hope of winning the chance to perform on the Royal Variety Show and win £250,000 in prizes.

The new series will see the return of a star-studded line-up alongside regular hosts Ant and Dec. Last year, comedian Viggo Venn won the cult show, beating dancer Lillianna Clifton and illusionist Cillian O’Connor.

Former contestant Susan Boyle unexpectedly appeared on stage to sing I Dreamed a Dream alongside X Factor star Lucie Jones.

Who will be on the Britain’s Got Talent 2024 judging panel?

Simon has been confirmed to be joined once again by fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, who will be searching for stars across the country in the 17th series.

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli joined the show last year, replacing outgoing judge David Walliams, who left in 2022.

Speaking about his return to the show, he told the Radio Times: “I had a great time, partly because I’d never seen it before. It’s true! Simon was teasing me about it. I didn’t even watch Strictly – I don’t watch judging shows because I don’t want to be influenced by another judge. I just want to do my own thing. But I had a great time. It’s a real entertainment show and the range of talent is amazing.”
