Heading into the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star Week, the Los Angeles Dodgers are well-represented with six selections, and they potentially have another non-player addition coming.

Dodgers ball boy Sean Harris is among the candidates for the All-Star Game at Globe Life Field, competing with four other players for a spot on either the American League or National League teams.

The top two players with the most votes will be announced Wednesday and named to the All-Star team on July 16. Voting is open until 8:59 p.m. PT Tuesday night on multiple social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and Reddit.

Voting can also be done through the official MLB website.

Harris has been a ball boy for the Dodgers since 2018 and recently gained attention when he made a stunning catch on a foul line drive at 101.2 mph in early June.

Harris, born in Southern California, grew up a Dodgers fan with a dream of donning the team’s uniform.

MLB has launched an initiative to allow ball boys and girls to be recognized for their notable performances, adding a little flair to the All-Star Game support staff.

Massive fan support was met with on-field production, resulting in the Dodgers being selected to the MLB All-Star Game six times.

Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Tyler Glasnow, Teoscar Hernandez, Shohei Ohtani and Will Smith were named to the National League team. The players gathered in the team’s locker room this week, where the team’s selections were announced after Sunday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

This is the third time since the 2017 season that the Dodgers have had six All-Star selections.
