Boy in critical condition after shooting at Baltimore bus stop

Baltimore, Maryland – A boy was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot Monday morning at a bus stop in northwest Baltimore, according to Maryland Transit Police.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. on the Rogers Avenue bus loop, where another man shot a young man, police said. Details about the victim’s age or the suspect’s arrest status were not immediately available.

Rogers Avenue Metro Station, located in the Woodmere neighborhood, is near Grove Park Elementary School and Park Heights Elementary School.

  • Traffic alert: Warrenton road reopened after accident

    Stafford, Virginia – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office provided an update regarding the earlier traffic disruption on Warrenton Road near Short Street.

    An overturned vehicle caused major lane closures, but the road has now been fully reopened. The accident resulted in minor injuries and the overturned vehicle has been removed from the scene.

    Motorists can now resume normal travel in the area. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.

  • Reward offered for killer wanted in death of 34-year-old Hyattsville man

    Hyattsville, Maryland – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of Samuel Gracia Rojas, 34, who was found dead in his vehicle Friday morning. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

    On July 5, 2024, at approximately 9:35 a.m., officers with the City of Hyattsville Police Department responded to a welfare check in the 5300 block of Ager Road. Upon arrival, they located Mr. Gracia Rojas in a vehicle suffering from bodily trauma. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

    Investigators are actively working to identify the suspect(s) and determine a motive for this homicide. The Prince George’s County Police Department is handling all homicide investigations in the City of Hyattsville.
