(KRON) — A Manteca man wanted in connection with an attempted murder was arrested Sunday in Milpitas after police were notified of his truck in the area using an automatic license plate reader (ALPR), according to the Milpitas Police Department.

At approximately 10:21 p.m., Milpitas Police dispatchers relayed information to officers about the ALPR alert. Within a minute, MPD reported that an officer had located the pickup truck near S. Park Victoria Drive and Landess Avenue.
