I kissed a boyDan and Ollie look in love in this Attitude photoshoot.

The two men, both 27, are featured in the latest issue of Attitude – out now – in the Real Bodies feature where they shared their personal journeys around body image.

“For years I suffered the stigma of feeling like I wasn’t what people wanted,” Ollie told Attitude.

Ollie spoke about some of his memories of past experiences while he was on I kissed a boyHe told Attitude that the experience he spoke about on the show left him feeling “completely unworthy of being around, unwanted and unloved”.

Dan told Attitude that he struggled to talk about his body image issues, revealing that saying out loud that he felt “too skinny” made him feel like an idiot.

“People would tell me I was very skinny, and they meant it as a compliment, but it actually fueled my negative feelings about my body,” he added.

Elsewhere in the article, the couple also opened up about life after I kissed a boyBoth said they were warmly welcomed by everyone.

“Especially Ollie,” Dan said. “I’m happy to be the Robin to his Batman. I’m truly his biggest fan and supporter in life.”

Ollie added some afterlifeI kissed a boy was “crazy,” the couple attended events and were spotted out and about.

Up until this point, Dan also recounted what kind of encounters the couple had.

“When people on the street tell us how grateful they are for our representation, it really gives us a boost. I especially love meeting parents who watched the show with their gay children; it makes me emotional every time.”

“I’m so grateful that there are parents like that raising the next generation of queer people.”
