7 arrested in connection with theft at Ulta Beauty store in Concord

(KRON) — Seven people were arrested over the course of five hours for shoplifting at an Ulta Beauty store in Concord, the Concord Police Department said Wednesday.

CPD Financial Crimes Unit conducted a shoplifting operation at a store located at 1975 Diamond Blvd. in the Willows Shopping Center.


CPD identified each of the suspects

  • Veronica Fiore, 28, of Walnut Creek. (Arrested for shoplifting and burglary)
  • Karanbir Doel, 31, of Concord and Placer Counties. (Grand Theft and Outstanding Arrest Warrant)
  • Anthony Russell, 25, of Antioch. (Shoplifting, burglary, conspiracy and possession of stolen property)
  • Tatiyana Slater, 24, of Antioch. (Shoplifting, burglary, conspiracy and possession of stolen property)
  • Ranelle Tabitha Rubino, 38, of Concord. (Shoplifting, Burglary and Violation of Probation)
  • Fredrick Long, 65, of Concord. (Possession of drug paraphernalia)
  • Unidentified 16-year-old. (Shoplifting with burglary)

Seven suspects stole merchandise valued at a combined $6,591, police said. All were booked into the Concord City Jail.

CPD plans to conduct similar operations in the future.
