Hansi Flick put his first transfer request to Barcelona on the table – report

According to a report by SPORT, Barcelona has contacted Bayern Leverkusen about the possibility of signing Jeremy Frimpong.

Hansi Flick is suggested to have suggested Frimpong as a potential signing for the team, with Barcelona having already made an initial offer.

For now, however, Frimpong has decided to postpone any decisions regarding his future until after the European Championships.

Interestingly, however, the portal mentioned that Bayer Leverkusen may be willing to consider a transaction involving the exchange of players as part of the negotiations regarding Frimpong’s transfer to Barcelona.

Barcelona’s plan for Frimpong

Despite financial challenges arising from fair play regulations, Barcelona is actively monitoring the transfer market.

The club is currently constrained by financial constraints and must adhere to the 1:1 rule, which requires the club to balance expenses and income.

Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, has expressed some optimism that these financial problems will be resolved, but admits it will be a difficult process.

Journalist David Bernabeu stressed that Frimpong is one of the key players that Barcelona are considering to strengthen their full-back position.

Barcelona’s offer was lower than expected

The club’s technical team is closely monitoring Frimpong’s situation as there is a high probability that he will leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.

“Value of 50 million euros on ‘Transfermarkt’. This is the player that Flick put on the table.” said Bernabeu about the operation.

“Those are the intentions, but they can’t sign anyone at the moment. I was told that Barça made the first low offer. For now, Frimpong wants to wait until the end of the European Championships.

“It looks like Bayer would be open to players joining the surgery. And in this sense, you need to be careful because a few days ago a position appeared on the Ansu Fati case.

An offer of an inexpensive loan or transfer. 10-15 million euros. Barça believes that he will not accept it because he wants to play pre-season with Flick. he added.

It appears that Barcelona are keen to sign Frimpong and have made an initial offer to Bayer Leverkusen, much lower than his actual value.

However, the player will decide about his future after the European Championships, but it should be noted that other players may take part in the transaction, and Bayer expressed interest in Ansu Fati as part of the negotiations.
