Day six of Hunter Biden’s federal gun trial

It was clear that talking about her father was a very painful topic for Naomi Biden. And even though she is a graduate of Columbia Law School, she felt very uncomfortable during her testimony when the defense called her to testify on Friday in the trial against Hunter Biden.

Naomi Biden walked into court Friday with her husband, and first lady Jill Biden immediately motioned for him to sit next to her among Biden’s family and friends, who make up at least the first two rows of the courtroom.

Naomi Biden’s testimony focused on two occasions in 2018 when she saw her father.

The first was in August or September, when she went to visit her father in Los Angeles. Hunter Biden contacted her to visit him while he was in rehab. He offered to organize the trip, and Naomi Biden agreed to go, even though she hadn’t seen him in a long time.

During her testimony, Naomi Biden seemed authentic and fascinating, like the child of an addict.

She then testified about a trip to New York, where Hunter Biden came to pick up a car. She described meeting him in late October and stated that it “filled her with hope”. Naomi Biden said her father looks the same as when she saw him in Los Angeles.

Under cross-examination by prosecutor Leo Wise, she again testified that she had not seen her father recently because “everything got worse after my uncle died” around 2015.

Prosecutors got her to admit that she didn’t really know what he was like when he was taking drugs because she hadn’t seen him in a long time.

Prosecutors seemed to catch Naomi and her defense attorney Abbe Lowell off guard when they introduced her to a series of text messages she exchanged with her father during a trip to New York.

Naomi Biden seemed a bit confused and reserved when confronted with text messages that showed her father was a bit erratic and uncommunicative as he tried to reach out of the car.

She had no memory of this exchange and began to seem increasingly embarrassed as she talked about the texts her father had sent her early that morning about replacing her car.

As she left the stand, Naomi Biden coolly hugged her dad and kissed her on the cheek, and as she left the courtroom, she was shaking and wiping away tears.
