Moreno Valley College graduates have earned 1,500 degrees and 732 certificates, an achievement celebrated in a ceremony on Friday evening, June 7.

Over 100 graduates, 138 to be precise, graduated with an average grade of 3.7 or higher.

The college graduation was held in College Park, which is adjacent to the campus.

This year’s youngest graduate was 17; the oldest was 73 years old. This was the fourth year in a row that a person aged 70 and over won the completion award.

Middle College, a program that allows high school juniors and seniors to complete their final two years at Moreno Valley College while earning a high school diploma and an associate’s degree, graduated 59 students, according to a news release.
