As a board-certified family physician and IT specialist, Dr. Glynn has played a key role in enabling the standardization, modernization and optimization of HCA’s ambulatory EHR system, which underpins clinic and practice workflows in more than 1,600 locations and impacts the care of nearly 15 million patients annually.

Prior to joining RhythmX AI, Dr. Glynn served as Chief Ambulatory Information Officer for HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers with 188 hospitals and approximately 2,400 ambulatory care sites in 20 U.S. states and United Kingdom.

During his twelve-year tenure, Dr. Glynn managed HIT strategy, implementation, and clinical support for over 1,600 outpatient clinics, GME programs, and urgent care centers. His team of clinicians and IT specialists managed annual implementations for over 1,400 providers and enterprise support for over 13,000 providers across HCA. Dr. Glynn also served as the organization’s CMIO, leading HCA’s physician services to create, maintain, secure and create business-critical clinical information that is reliable and actionable to promote improved outcomes, patient comfort and effective patient health care.

His experience also includes the Bon Secours healthcare system. Dr. Glynn received his M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School and his M.B.A. with Belmont University. He has certificates in family medicine and computer science. Dr. Glynn is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.
