Drugs seized and three arrested on Little London warrant

Officers from North West Yesterday (Monday), the NPT’s Leeds branch seized cocaine with an estimated street value of around £5,000 when, together with the Neighborhood Impact Team, they carried out an arrest warrant at an address in the Little London area.

Three scales, a quantity of cash and a large quantity of plastic bags with sealed handles believed to be intended for supplying drugs were also seized.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and released under investigation pending further inquiries.

Inspector Carl Robinson said:

“This operation was carried out based on information provided to us by the local community and information gathered through local enquiries.

“Little London residents have told us they don’t want drug dealers in their area and we are responding to their concerns to make their area a safer place.

“Anyone with information about suspicious or criminal activity can report it to us by contacting the NPT or the independent charity Crimestoppers directly on 0800 555111.”
