Serious injuries after Alexandra’s accident

A road has been closed following a single-vehicle collision near Alexandra, Otago.

The accident on SH8/Alexandra-Fruitlands Road was reported to police at 10.50am.

“Initial information indicates that the injuries are serious,” police said in a statement.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area and take an alternative route.
