Pythian welcomes Brooks Borcherding as CEO

An organization confirming its commitment to data analysis, artificial intelligence and Google Cloud

OTTAWA, June 11, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Pythian Services Inc (“Pythian“), a leading provider of data, analytics and artificial intelligence services, announced today Brooks Borcherding will take up the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and join the Management Board, building on the organization’s solid foundations of excellence and innovation. Keith Angell will transition from his role as CEO back to full-time operating partner of Mill Point Capital and will remain an active member of Pythian’s board of directors.

Borcherding comes to Pythian with an outstanding track record in building and leading, rapidly growing technology and service organizations. He previously held senior positions at leading companies including Navisite, Datto and Cloudreach, and his expertise spans the full spectrum of cloud solutions, enterprise software, data protection and managed services. He successfully completed three transactions, including the sale of Navisite to Time Warner Cable, Datto to Vista Equity Partners and Cloudreach to Atos.
