LAKE FOREST, Calif. (KABC) — A fender bender turned into quite the water spectacle over the weekend in Lake Forest.

Orange County Fire Department crews responded to a crash at Jeronimo Road and Heidi Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

“Engine 19 and 222, Truck 20 and Battalion 9 drove to the intersection and found a collision between two vehicles with a damaged hydrant and a car suspended under high pressure,” reads a post on the X OCFA account. “Fortunately, both drivers managed to escape from their vehicles before the high-pressure spectacle began.”

Firefighters finally managed to get the water under control by lowering the suspended car back down. One driver was taken to a local hospital, but no serious injuries were reported.
